Drew Pomeranz Could Start This Weekend
6 years agoSan Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy said that starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz hasn't been pulled from the rotation permanently. He's currently available to pitch out of the bullpen if he's needed, and the left-hander could make a start against the Dodgers this weekend. The veteran 30-year-old has not been good at all in 2019, going 1-6 with an 8.08 ERA, 1.87 WHIP and 43 K's in 39 innings over his 10 starts. Even if Pomeranz is seen back in the starting rotation for the Gigantes, those in fantasy leagues should be looking to avoid him at all costs, especially against the dangerous LA lineup.
