Drew Lock Expected To Start In Week 16
3 years agoThe expectation is that Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock will start in Week 16 against the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) is doing better and is in the league's concussion protocol, but he had to be stretchered off the field and spent Sunday night in a local hospital. Additional tests came back normal, but Bridgewater might be fighting an uphill battle to start for the Broncos this weekend. Lock did account for the team's only touchdown in the 15-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, but he went 6-for-12 for 88 yards and also lost a crucial fumble late in the game in the red zone. The 25-year-old has looked pretty bad in limited duty behind Bridgewater this year and will only be an emergency low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he makes his first start of 2021 against Vegas.
