Dont'e Thornton Jr. 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Elite Speed, Unrefined Skill Set
Dont'e Thornton Jr. seems set to become his team's WR3 at some point in 2024. Last season, wideout Tre Tucker was the team's WR2, but Vegas immediately drafted Jack Bech in Round 2 and Thornton in Round 4 of the 2025 NFL Draft, clearly signaling that they weren't happy with their receiver situation from a year ago. Bech is likely to be the WR2, but Thornton could see reps as a field-stretcher, owing to his ridiculous 4.30-second 40-yard dash and 6-foot-5, 205 pound frame. He's extremely raw as a receiver, and might just not have the ability to become a good route-runner at the next level, but he could catch a few deep passes here and there that could give him some spike weeks. It seems like it will be impossible to predict when he will have a big game, though, so like many other WR3/WR4 players on teams, he's only worth a stash late in dynasty leagues.
