The Los Angeles Dodgers are showing interest in Japanese outfielder Yoshitomo Tsutsugo, according to a source. A potential designated hitter in the long term, Tsutsugo is viewed by many as a better fit for the American League. He's facing a Dec. 19 deadline to sign in the big leagues. Tsutsugo hit 29 home runs for the Yokohama Bay Stars last year and managed a .989 OPS with 38 homers in 139 games for the same team in 2018. He should attract interest from plenty of teams as a corner outfielder with power in a modest market for that type of player this winter. On a crowded and talented Dodgers roster, though, Tsutsugo could become just a platoon player.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
