DJ Moore Considered A Foundational Piece For Panthers
2 years agoThe Carolina Panthers have received multiple trade calls on wide receiver DJ Moore, but the team has considered him as a foundational piece to their roster, according to sources. It would be a tough trade to execute. The Panthers have traded away star running back Christian McCaffrey and receiver Robbie Anderson this week as they look to rebuild after previously firing head coach Matt Rhule. Moore's fantasy value has cratered with the team tearing their roster down, and he'll have third-string quarterback P.J. Walker throwing him passes for the second straight game in Week 7 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 25-year-old has 20 catches on 44 targets for 204 yards and a touchdown in six games and has become a low-ceiling, low-floor WR3/flex for fantasy managers.
