Colorado Rockies second baseman DJ LeMahieu was originally diagnosed with a sprained thumb, but it was revealed that there was also a small broken bone in the same area. Thankfully, LeMahieu will avoid surgery and should be back swinging a bat within a week. This is good news for fantasy owners, as LeMahieu is a valuable contributor at a shallow position. So far in 2018, he has a .279 average to go along with five home runs and 13 RBI. Barring any setbacks with this injury, pencil him in to finish the season with around 55 RBI and a solid batting average.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
