DJ Chark Jr. Picks Up DNP At Monday's Practice
1 year agoThe Carolina Panthers listed wide receivers DJ Chark Jr. (elbow) and Laviska Shenault Jr. (ankle) as non-participants on their estimated injury report on Monday after the team conducted a walkthrough practice. Chark was questionable to play in Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts due to an elbow injury, but he ultimately played and had two catches for nine yards and a touchdown on just three targets. Shenault did not play and is probably a long shot to suit up on Thursday night against the Chicago Bears. The 27-year-old Chark will likely be rested before suiting up in Week 10, but fantasy managers can't realistically trust any Panthers pass-catcher for consistent production outside of veteran Adam Thielen. Chark played 41 of 71 total offensive snaps for Carolina in Sunday's loss to the Colts.
