Eugenio Suarez is all but gone and might be the best hitter available, while pitchers Zac Gallen and Merrill Kelly and first baseman Josh Naylor could also all be traded.

Although it's not exactly unexpected, the Arizona Diamondbacks are telling rival teams that they plan to trade at least some of their veterans at this year's July 31 deadline. However, the extent to which the D-backs will sell is unknown, league sources tell The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal. Arizona was just swept by the Houston Astros and are 5 1/2 games behind the San Diego Padres for the final wild-card spot in the National League with three teams ahead of them. Rosenthal writes that the Snakes are reluctant to give up on the 2025 season after they secured the final wild-card spot in 2023 before advancing to the World Series that fall. But they've already lost three pitchers for the season, and their impending free agents are some of the most attractive on the trade market. Third baseman Source: The Athletic - Ken Rosenthal
