Detroit Lions Defense Manhandled By The Bears
6 years agoThe Detroit Lions defense surrendered 34 points in the first three quarters of Sunday's 34-22 loss to the Bears. At one point in the second quarter, the Lions trailed 26-0. Detroit wasn't off to a good start when cornerback Darius Slay (knee) was labeled inactive. The Bears took advantage of that absence, as Mitch Trubisky threw for 355 yards. The Lions weren't able to force any turnovers, and only recorded one sack in the loss. Things don't get any easier next week as they welcome the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
