Lions Defense Has Daunting Matchup Against Carolina
6 years agoThe Detroit Lions defense surrendered 402 yards of offense in last week's loss to the Bears. With Darius Slay (knee) inactive, the Lions were torched by Mitch Trubisky for 348 yards. Already known as one of the worst run defenses in the league, it's clear that without Slay, the secondary has their issues as well. This week, Detroit gets to face the Cam Newton and Christian McCaffrey-led Panthers. Carolina is coming off a beatdown at the hands of the Steelers and will be out for vengeance. Slay has been limited in practice this week and there is a chance he misses a another game; for that reason you should look for a better streaming option in Week 11.
