Deshaun Watson "Not Sure" If He'll Play In Week 9
1 year agoCleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson (shoulder) said he's "not sure" if he'll be able to play in Week 9 against the Arizona Cardinals. Watson also said throwing this week in practice is part of the process and isn't necessarily a sign that he's going to play on Sunday. Reporters were impressed with Watson's throwing session at practice on Wednesday, when he was officially listed as limited. Given the uncertainty surrounding the 28-year-old's status, fantasy managers shouldn't be relying on Watson as their QB1 in Week 9. The Browns have already said that if Watson does not play this weekend, P.J. Walker would make another start. Walker's numbers have been pretty bad (one touchdown, five interceptions), so he will merely be a desperation QB2 in superflex leagues if he makes another start against Arizona. UPDATE: Watson was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday.
