Denny McCarthy has played in two tournaments already in 2025. The American golfer did not make too many birdies at The Sentry. However, he started to warm up a little at the Sony Open. McCarthy scored his first Top 25 of the new year. He has yet to win an event in 191 appearances but 2024 was a solid effort for the University of Virginia alum. McCarthy had four Top 10 results and only missed four cuts in 24 events. Overall, he ended 43rd in the world rankings (OWGR). McCarthy finished tied for sixth in 2022 at PGA West in La Quinta. He cannot be counted out here and his 0.699 strokes gained to putting (fourth overall) makes him a viable DFS candidate. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
