After steering issues at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, Denny Hamlin is now on the outside looking in when it comes to making the Championship Four race. Hamlin's No. 11 Toyota was one of the fastest cars this past weekend--he ranked fourth-fastest in Green Flag Speed--but a steering issue with 32 laps remaining in the event relegated Denny to a 30th-place finish. He earned just 19 points on the day and now sits 17 points below the cut line with one race remaining before the Championship finale at Phoenix. Hamlin will need a very strong race at Martinsville and likely a little luck if he wants to compete for this year's Cup Series title.--Jordan McAbee
