Portland Trail Blazers forward Deni Avdija (quadriceps) will not play in Friday's matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Avdija injured his left quadriceps in Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards and has been ruled out for Friday after the team initially gave him a questionable designation on the injury report. Shaedon Sharpe is expected to replace Avdija in the first unit, while Kris Murray will likely also be more involved in the rotation.--Taavi Pailk
