De'Aaron Fox Hurts Right Ankle During Big Performance
1 year agoSacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox hurt his right ankle in Sunday's 132-127 overtime win against the Lakers. The Kings star was injured late in the fourth quarter. He left for the locker room after rolling his ankle, but Fox was back on the court when overtime started, logging 1:31 of further action before being subbed and sitting out the rest of the contest. According to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee, Fox ignored team instructions by returning. He ended up needing help to get to the locker room after the game. Fox, who scored 13 of his game-high 37 points in the fourth quarter, would be a huge miss for the Kings if he now has to sit out action. Davion Mitchell will be expected to carry a much heavier load if Fox is out.
