David Johnson Practicing In Full This Week
3 years agoHouston Texans running back David Johnson (illness, thigh) has practiced each of the last two days after being inactive in the Week 13 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. It puts him on track to play this Sunday when the team faces the Seattle Seahawks. Rex Burkhead was Houston's lead back last Sunday in the blowout loss to the Colts, but he had only eight carries for 30 yards and caught one of two targets for 15 yards. Johnson has double-digit carries in each of his last two games, but the fact that he'll likely continue to split touches with Burkhead in one of the worst offenses in the league makes him an RB4/flex with a low ceiling and floor. The 29-year-old is averaging a putrid 3.1 yards per carry on 56 carries through 11 games this year.
