David Fletcher Stays Hot
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels shortstop David Fletcher went 2-for-3 with two walks in the Angels victory over the Mariners on Tuesday. Fletcher has now reached base seven times out of his last 10 plate appearances and is 10-for-18 (.556) on the season. The 26-year-old was a pleasant surprise last season, hitting .290 with 40 extra bases and 83 runs scored through 154 games. Fletcher does not provide elite production in the power department but manager Joe Maddon seems intent on playing him all over the field this season. He could be an intriguing DFS play over the next few games.
