Daniel Suarez is one of those drivers on the outside looking in for the playoffs. The Trackhouse Racing driver is 19th in the points standings and 34 points out of the 16th spot. Suarez only has three races to gain enough points or win once to secure a playoff position. He starts 14th on Sunday and has not finished in the top-20 since COVID. However, last year the No. 99 car led 33 laps and was second after Stage 2. Suarez could not keep his spot and tumbled backwards. The concern is his practice times placed him outside the top 20.
