D'Andre Swift Unlikely To Play In Week 13
3 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder) sprained his shoulder in the first half of the Thanksgiving loss to the Chicago Bears and is unlikely to play in Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings. Head coach Dan Campbell said that Swift was still "pretty sore" as of Monday afternoon. "It's hard to say that you'd see him playing (against the Vikings), but there again, we'll know a lot more on how he feels tomorrow and then certainly Wednesday," Campbell said. Swift has been a must-start in fantasy this year despite playing for the winless Lions, as he leads the team with 550 rushing yards and six total touchdowns and is second with 429 yards receiving. Jamaal Williams will likely start against Minnesota and will have RB2 upside, while rookie Jermar Jefferson and Godwin Igwebuike would play backup roles off the bench.
