D'Andre Swift Trending In The Right Direction
4 years agoDetroit Lions interim head coach Darrell Bevell said that rookie running back D'Andre Swift (illness), who has missed the last three games with a concussion and an illness, is trending in the right direction to play in Week 14 against the Packers. Green Bay's defense is extremely vulnerable on the ground, allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. Swift had cemented himself as Detroit's clear lead back before suffering a head injury, so he'd have significant fantasy upside if he returns to a normal workload this weekend. However, there's risk of him seeing a limited snap count in his first game back, which will make him more of a boom/bust RB3/flex. Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson had been splitting touches with Swift out, but they'd be dicey RB3/flex plays if Swift is back in action this Sunday.
