D'Andre Swift Returns To Practice
3 years agoDetroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (shoulder) returned to practice on Wednesday for the first time since spraining his shoulder on Thanksgiving Day. Head coach Dan Campbell said Swift's status for Week 16 against the Atlanta Falcons remains up in the air, but it's a positive sign that Swift is being tested in practice this week. The 22-year-old isn't guaranteed to return this Sunday, and there's a good chance he could be eased back into the offense, making him a shaky fantasy option if he's active. Making Detroit's backfield even more clouded this weekend is the fact that Jamaal Williams is back from the COVID-19 list. If Swift remains out, Williams figures to share the backfield with Craig Reynolds, who went over 100 yards rushing in the win over the Arizona Cardinals.
