New Jersey Devils defenseman Damon Severson endured one tough night in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Friday night. Severson took three minors in the third period and it was that third penalty that led to a Los Angeles power-play goal. Yes, New Jersey was able to force overtime but ultimately lost just 42 seconds into the extra session. All the good that Severson has done gets undone often by his lapses of judgment.
