3/14:Free-agent starting pitcher Dallas Keuchel faced hitters and threw 80 pitches on Wednesday in Newport Beach, Calif., according to his agent Scott Boras. “He’s going through a full Spring Training, just like [Kyle] Lohse did,” Boras said, referring to Lohse’s program before signing a three-year, $33 million contract with the Brewers on March 25, 2013. A couple teams have sent representatives to watch Keuchel pitch and speak to the lefty in person. Boras said Keuchel "is receiving offers." The Astros have made a few offers to Keuchel and the Braves continue to monitor his market. The bearded left-handed won a Cy Young in 2015 and is a ground-ball pitcher that doesn't miss a ton of bats. The longer he remains without a team the less attractive he becomes from a fantasy standpoint in mixed leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
