Dallas Goedert Receives Four-Year Extension
Dallas Goedert agreed to a four-year contract extension on Friday that will take him through the 2025 season. Financial terms of the extension weren't immediately disclosed. The Eagles are committed to Goedert for the long term, if that wasn't already clear when they traded Zach Ertz to the Arizona Cardinals earlier this year. The 26-year-old former second-round pick in 2018 has 29 receptions for 429 yards and two touchdowns on 39 targets through nine games in 2021. Fantasy managers have been expecting a bit more with Ertz out of the picture, though, and Goedert hasn't scored since Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Philly's offense has run hot and cold in quarterback Jalen Hurts' second season, but Goedert should at least continue to serve as a low-end TE1 at the weakest fantasy position.
