Dak Prescott To Get Another MRI
3 years agoDallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (shoulder) hasn't had another setback from his right shoulder strain, but he's planning on getting another MRI exam when the team breaks from training camp to return home this weekend. Prescott said he's making progress, and he resumed some light throwing earlier this week. The Cowboys are taking every precaution with their franchise signal-caller, and while Prescott wouldn't mind playing in the preseason on Aug. 21 against the Houston Texans, it's not his top priority. As long as there are no setbacks, he should be good to go for Week 1, which is the only thing that fantasy managers really care about. Prescott was on pace for 6,700 passing yards before his gruesome ankle injury in Week 5 in 2020. He has a solid high-end QB1 floor because of his rushing ability in what should once again be a strong offense.
