Curtis Samuel Likely To Play On Monday Night
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) is looking likely to play on Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 12. However, Samuel will be on a pitch count if he's able to suit up for the first time since Week 5. The 25-year-old was supposed to be a big part of Washington's offense in his first year in D.C., but Samuel has managed to play in only two games (four catches for 19 yards) due to a groin injury that has been bothering him since the summer. He obviously won't be worth using in starting fantasy lineups against Seattle on Monday, but Samuel is a player worth watching on the waiver wire if he can remain healthy and earn a bigger role as the No. 2 receiver behind Terry McLaurin. Samuel's impending return is bad news for Adam Humphries and DeAndre Carter.
