Courtland Sutton Out Again On Thursday
12 months agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol and missed his second straight practice of the week on Thursday. Sutton was forced from Denver's Christmas Eve loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday due to a concussion and is now in jeopardy of missing his first game of the year in Week 17 against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers. The 28-year-old had a career year in 2023, but it's looking like fantasy managers may be without him during their championship matchups this week. Rookie Marvin Mims Jr. (hamstring) popped up on the injury report on Thursday, too, so Jerry Jeudy and Brandon Johnson could have much bigger roles in the passing game in a great matchup against the Bolts. On the flip side, with quarterback Russell Wilson now benched, all of Denver's pass-catchers are even less attractive in fantasy.
