Courtland Sutton Goes Over 100 Yards And Scores
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton gave his fantasy managers a scare on Friday when he rolled his ankle in practice, making him questionable to play in Week 5 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sutton ended up playing and dominating, catching seven of his team-high 11 targets for 120 yards and his first touchdown of the season. The 26-year-old had a 100-yard game in Week 2, but before Sunday, he had been quiet otherwise. It was nice to see him break out again in a game in which Denver had to throw the ball often while trailing all day. And with Jerry Jeudy (ankle) still out, Sutton is the clear top target for quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Denver's offense isn't as bad as it was in 2020, but they are in better hands with Bridgewater under center. Sutton will continue to have WR2 upside in Week 6.
