Corey Davis Limited By Groin Injury
3 years agoNew York Jets wide receiver Corey Davis (groin) suffered a groin injury in practice on Wednesday and was listed as limited. Davis' Thursday participation will tell us much more as far as his availability for the upcoming game against the Houston Texans this Sunday goes. Mid-week injuries are usually never a good thing, but the good news is that Davis still has two more days to recover and return to the practice field. When healthy, he remains the team's No. 1 receiver and will have rookie first-round quarterback Zach Wilson (knee) back in the fold this weekend. If Davis' injury is serious enough to sideline him, rising rookie Elijah Moore would immediately become more attractive as a WR3/flex against a Texans defense that has allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game to WRs in the last three weeks. Jamison Crowder and Keelan Cole would be in line for more targets as well.
