Corbin Carroll Leaves Early With Injury
1 year agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll (neck, shoulder) departed Thursday's game early against the Tampa Bay Rays in the top of the fifth inning after it looked like he was dealing with an issue in his right shoulder/neck area after his last at-bat in the third inning. The 22-year-old was replaced in right field by Jake McCarthy. He went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before leaving prematurely. Hopefully, Arizona is taking every precaution with their star outfielder in what was a 6-0 game in Tampa's favor at the time. Fantasy managers will want to check back for more updates on Carroll's condition. Losing him for any amount of time would be a huge blow. He came into the day hitting .292 (83-for-284) with 17 homers, 20 doubles, three triples, 44 RBI, 24 steals and 60 runs scored in 78 games in his first full MLB season.
