Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid had two goals in the final game of 2021 on Friday, helping his team to a 5-4 lead against New Jersey before the Devils fought back and won 6-5 in overtime. The Oilers captain recorded 51 multi-point efforts in 2021 and only somebody named Wayne Gretzky has managed more in NHL history. McDavid is a scoring machine and he closed out the calendar year with three multi-point efforts in four games. He tops the league's scoring charts with 52 points in 31 games and there's plenty of more to come from him in 2022.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
