Cole Kmet Won't Participate In Wednesday's Practice
12 months agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (knee) will not practice on Wednesday. "They just need another day with the trainers to get ready...it's looking positive but we'll see where it is," head coach Matt Eberflus said. As long as Kmet is able to practice on Thursday or Friday, he should be available to play in the Week 18 regular season finale on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. The 24-year-old played through his knee injury in the Week 17 win over the Atlanta Falcons but wasn't targeted at all. If he's able to play, Kmet should be able to bounce back against the Packers and will be on the fantasy radar as a low-end TE1 option for managers still playing for a championship. In Week 1 against the Packers, Kmet caught five of seven targets for 44 yards.
