Cole Carrigg Finding Power Swing
Cole Carrigg has begun to snap his power skid. Over his previous two contests, Carrigg has launched three long balls. On Sunday, he went deep twice. However, prior to this two-game surge, Carrigg did not go deep for seven games. Through the first 28 games of the Double-A campaign, the No. 3-ranked prospect in the system and held a 282/.388/.563 slash line with four doubles, two triples, and seven home runs. Carrigg has swiped nine bags and held a 33:14 K:BB. Last season, the backstop spent most of his season with High-A, where he held a .280/.358/.475 line with 16 doubles and 16 home runs across 111 contests. Given his steady progression at Double-A, the San Diego State product could be in the mix to reach Triple-A later this summer.
