Cole Beasley To Retire
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Cole Beasley has decided to retire, effective immediately, according to his agents Joel and Justin Turner. "He is ready to be with his family after playing in 11 seasons and it's time to be a full time dad and husband," his agents said in a statement. The Bucs brought Beasley in recently due to injuries to most of their receiving corps, but they are getting healthier and Mike Evans also returned from his one-game suspension last week, so Beasley isn't really needed anymore. The 33-year-old will wrap up his 11-year NFL career with 554 catches on 780 targets for 5,726 yards and 34 touchdowns in 151 games (50 starts) with the Bucs, Cowboys and Bills. He spent the first seven years of his career in Dallas before playing three seasons in Buffalo.
