Cole Beasley Receives Praise For Toughness
4 years agoBuffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley (knee) received praise from quarterback Josh Allen and fellow wideout Stefon Diggs for playing through an injured knee in the wild-card win over the Colts in which he played 41 snaps and secured a team-high seven catches for 57 yards. "I do want to give a shoutout to Cole. Seven catches. On his knee. Getting through it. He's tough as nails," Allen said. Beasley wore a brace on his injured knee and was laboring at times, but he made it through the game and is expected to be out there in the Divisional Round against the Ravens this Saturday night. The veteran pass-catcher had a career-high 82 catches for 967 yards and four touchdowns in the regular season and remains a key third-down weapon for Allen, but he'll remain a bit risky while playing at less than 100 percent against a tough Baltimore D and a potential matchup with cornerback Marlon Humphrey.
