Cole Beasley 2019 Player Outlook: Possible PPR Late-Round Target
5 years agoThe Bills completely revamped their offense for 2019, after struggling to find weapons for Josh Allen in 2018. Cole Beasley will slide into the slot and be a reliable option for Allen to check down to. Even as a very successful slot receiver in Dallas (more of a passing offense), Beasley failed to be much of a fantasy asset. He never complied more than 670 yards and you certainly can’t rely on any touchdowns out of a slot WR in a run-heavy scheme. Beasley will be a big asset for this team to move the chains, but it’ll be tough for him to do much statistically on a consistent basis. You can take a flier on him in a later round in a PPR league in hopes that he’s the new favorite target of Josh Allen. That role is still up for grabs and it could be a valuable one if the Bills are playing from behind often.
