Clyde Edwards-Helaire On The Field Wednesday
4 years agoKansas City Chiefs rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle, hip) was on the field with no pads in the portion of practice open to the media on Wednesday. It's a good sign, but we'll need to see more from the impressive rookie before we recommend him for fantasy lineups in the Divisional Round against the Browns. The 21-year-old went down in ugly fashion in the Week 15 win over the Saints and didn't play in the final two games of the regular season, giving him three full weeks to heal up before the playoffs. On the season, CEH ran the ball 181 times for 803 yards (4.4 yards per carry) and four touchdowns, adding 36 receptions for 297 yards and an additional score in 13 games. Because he could share more touches with Le'Veon Bell if he's active on Sunday, Edwards-Helaire is a risky fantasy play for the Divisional Round. Keep a close eye on his practice status throughout the week.
