Clayton Kershaw Throws Bullpen Session Monday
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (pelvis) threw a 35-pitch bullpen session on Monday, according to skipper Dave Roberts. It was Kershaw's first time throwing off a mound since he landed on the injured list with SI joint inflammation earlier this month. He will throw another bullpen, and the next step will likely be a minor league rehab assignment. The 34-year-old future Hall of Famer was lights-out before his injury, going 4-0 with a 1.80 ERA, 0.73 WHIP, three walks and 32 strikeouts in 30 innings over five starts. Fantasy managers can't get Kershaw back soon enough, but make no mistake, the Dodgers will not rush him back.
