Despite not being able to come to an agreement with the Denver Broncos after visiting them, free-agent linebacker Clay Matthews remains open to play in 2020, "provided it's the right opportunity for him and his family," agent Ryan Williams said in a statement. The Broncos are looking for some linebacking help after releasing Todd Davis and after the season-ending ankle injury to Von Miller this week, but Matthews apparently wasn't the right fit. Ten of his 11 seasons in the league were with Green Bay, and he spent 2019 with the Rams. Matthews is no longer an elite pass-rushing linebacker, but he'd be a good veteran presence in the right locker room for a team that has a chance to compete in 2020. The 34-year-old actually posted eight sacks last year, which was his highest total since 2014.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
