4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for Week 16 against the Washington Football Team. McCaffrey has been a giant bust for fantasy managers, playing in just three games all season after being the consensus No. 1 overall fantasy selection. At this point with just one meaningless game in Week 17, we shouldn't expect to see him again this year. Mike Davis, who has benefitted all year long, will again be in the RB2 conversation. However, with Washington's defense allowing the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs in the last five weeks, Davis is closer to the low end of the RB2 spectrum in Week 16. Washington has given up only 325 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground in the last five weeks.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
