4 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) is not expected to play in Week 10 against the division-rival Buccaneers due to the right shoulder injury that he suffered in Week 9 against the Chiefs, according to sources. McCaffrey is now considered week-to-week and is receiving a second opinion on his right shoulder. The All-Pro running back is not taking part in practice. Fantasy managers were ecstatic to get the 24-year-old back last week, but it looks like he's going to miss more time. Hopefully you didn't already drop Mike Davis, who would once again return to a featured role in the team's backfield if McCaffrey is sidelined. Davis would be more of an RB2 if McCaffrey is out again against a strong Tampa run defense. Continue to keep a close eye on McCaffrey's status this week, but with his availability not looking good, you need to prepare to be without him.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
