2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey didn't appear on any third downs or in the two-minute offense in his debut with the team in their Week 7 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. McCaffrey had only a day and a half to learn the team's playbook after being traded from the Carolina Panthers, and the expectation is that he'll have all facets of the offense under his belt for a Week 8 contest against the Los Angeles Rams. The 26-year-old finished with eight carries for 38 yards and caught both of his targets for 24 yards. CMC will continue to share some touches with Jeff Wilson Jr., but with more playing time in San Fran moving forward, he'll remain a must-start fantasy RB1 in a much better offense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
