Chris Taylor Could Begin Rehab Assignment Next Weekend
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers infielder/outfielder Chris Taylor (forearm) could begin his rehab assignment as early as next weekend, according to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com. Taylor has been on the injured list since July 15 with a fracture in his left forearm, after being struck by a pitch. Originally, the report said he would be out four to six weeks, so if he is able to begin his rehab assignment next weekend, it would a big plus for the Dodgers. Before going down, he was slashing .261/.334/.452 with eight homers, 41 runs batted in, 33 runs scored, and seven stolen bases. When he does return, Taylor is a valuable utility player in mixed and NL-only fantasy leagues, and should be added if he was dropped due to the injury.
