Chris Godwin Has Pins Removed From Finger
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers Pro Bowl wide receiver Chris Godwin (finger) had surgery on Tuesday to have 10 pins removed from his left index finger that he has played with for the last four weeks, according to head coach Bruce Arians. As a result, Godwin didn't practice Tuesday or Wednesday. He broken his finger in Week 7 against the Raiders and missed one game. Godwin won't fully return to practice until Friday. It doesn't sound like the 24-year-old is in danger of sitting out in Week 14 against the Vikings. Minnesota's secondary has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to pass-catchers in 2020, paving the way for Tampa's wideouts to thrive coming off their bye week. Despite having pins removed from his finger this week, Godwin should have a safe floor as a WR2 this weekend.
