Coming into this weekend's race at Richmond, Chris Buescher was looking like a good bet to make it into the Playoffs on points, but he made sure there was no doubt by the end of the day, as the No. 17 Ford went to victory lane in the Cook Out 400. This was Buescher's third career win in the NASCAR Cup Series, and his second win over the last 30 races overall (he won at Bristol last September). Buescher showed good speed during practice at Richmond this weekend and even though he qualified back in 26th-place for Sunday's race, he was able to make his way through the field throughout, even finishing in 2nd-place in Stage Two. This makes it two top-5 finishes for Buescher at Richmond in his last three starts at the track.--Jordan McAbee
