Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Chris Archer pitched six strong innings versus the Red Sox Wednesday. He only allowed one run and kept the Rays in the game which would go to the ninth inning tied 1-1 before Boston would win. Archer would strike out six against a strong hitting opponent. He has pitched over 200 innings each of the past three seasons and has struck out at least 233 batters in each season. The troubling part is that his ERA has been just over 4.00 the last two seasons and his win-loss record has been 19-31 those two seasons. Speaking of ERA, his 2018 number sits at 4.68. He has the upside to be a strong fantasy asset, but the weakness of the Rays will impact his winning potential.--Jamie Mellor
