Chase Elliott has had a true mixed bag of results on the "Monster Mile" lately. He won in 2018 but had mechanical issues and a crash which ended his day within ten laps twice. Also, the Hendrick Motorsports Racing driver had two fifth-place results too. It almost feels like all or nothing for Elliott. His 2021 season has mostly been nothing with six top-ten finishes and zero wins in 12 races. The No. 9 has had issues just getting to and staying near the front in most races.
