Chase Briscoe's Joe Gibbs Racing debut has been very anonymous so far as he currently sits 12th in points in a year when his teammates have won five races. It feels by the eye test like he is running substantially worse than he actually has on paper, which may cause him to be overlooked. Despite never having led at the track, Briscoe has posted three straight top tens here for a crumbling Stewart-Haas Racing even though intermediates were their worst track type in recent years. Now he is driving for a JGR team that has always been known for its intermediate prowess and his best run of the season came when he started and finished fourth at Homestead, but at Texas he starts 22nd, which makes him a great option to consider since two of his top tens came in races where he started 30th or worse, although he admittedly seems to benefit from strategy a lot and his current crew chief James Small is not a great strategist. Nonetheless, given his past history, Briscoe seems like a very strong option for DFS play.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
