Charlie Blackmon Walks Off The Phillies
6 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon was one of a host of Rockies struggling at the plate to start the season, but his first bomb of the year was a big one. With his team trailing by one in the bottom of the 12th inning, Blackmon ripped a two-run shot into Philly's bullpen in right-center to win the game. Blackmon's first home run of the year had been long awaited, and it was worth it. With teammate Nolan Arenado finally coming around earlier this week, it looks like Colorado's offense may be starting to come around. Blackmon should be able to make up for the cold start without much of a problem, and he should still finish as a top-25 player this season.
