San Francisco Giants third baseman Casey Schmitt (foot) was removed early during Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Schmitt fouled a ball off his foot in the top of the second inning. He attempted to play through the issue before being pulled out in the bottom of the third. The assumption is that he'll undergo X-rays to determine the severity of the issue. For now, fantasy managers should consider Schmitt as day-to-day until the testing is back. Tyler Fitzgerald took over at third base and could see more time over there going forward.--Andy Webb
